Jericho - une allusion à Barnett Newman; an allusion to Barnett Newman was created by Gaucher at Open Studio in 1978. It is contemporaneous with his series of paintings of the same title, which were inspired by the painting Jericho by Barnett Newman. This two-colour lithograph echoes the composition, use of diagonal form, and weighty block colour exemplified in the Jericho paintings.
