Prints from the Archive

Between 1972 and 2018, Open Studio collected at least one ‘Open Studio Proof’ of every print created at the studio to put into its archive. In many cases two, or even three proofs were collected. Now, as part of a large-scale archive project, we are pleased to release ‘Open Studio Proof’ editions of prints by select artists for sale for the first time, beginning with prints from the 1970s and 1980s. 

Open Studio Proofs exist outside of the numbered edition (much like an AP, or BAT). In some cases there are variations of signing, including “OSP” “OS” or “Studio Proof”. Where possible we have added more specific information from our records about these prints to our listings.
