About Shaheer Zazai's Print Subscription: Shaheer Zazai’s digital compositions are inspired by traditional Afghan carpet patterns and produced through Microsoft Word. His print subscription, OSPS_MF-V2/2022, translates this process for the first time into the medium of screenprint, bridging digital and analogue technologies.

Artist Bio: Shaheer Zazai is a Toronto-based Afghan-Canadian artist with a current studio practice in both painting and digital media. His practice focuses on exploring and attempting to investigate the development of cultural identity in the present geopolitical climate and diaspora. Zazai's upcoming solo exhibitions include Afghanistan My Love, Aga Khan Museum, Toronto, ON, and Are We Even, Owens Art Gallery, Sackville, NB.
