Collection: Archive Work

Introducing the Open Studio Archive Collection

Since 1972, Open Studio has preserved multiple 'Open Studio Proofs' for every print created in our workshop. For the first time, we are offering select proofs from this historic archive to collectors, beginning with rare works from the 1970s.

This curated collection features limited-edition prints by influential Canadian artists including General Idea, Janet Cardiff, Harold Klunder, and Erica Rutherford. Each work represents a significant moment in Canadian art and printmaking history. Many pieces bear authenticity marks such as "OSP," "OS," or "Studio Proof," confirming their provenance and connection to our studio.

Every purchase directly supports Open Studio's mission as a non-profit, artist-run printmaking studio, helping us continue to provide vital programs and resources to artists.

We are deeply grateful to the artists and their estates who have made this collection possible.
