This screenprint, Coeur Volant, was created in 2000 at Open Studio and published by Casey House, Toronto. It is based on a General Idea drawing from 1994, and utilises the same red, green, and blue colour palette as General Idea’s iconic AIDS imagery, itself a riff on Robert Indiana’s Love artwork. This edition is signed as “AA Bronson” and is the first of two ‘Open Studio Proofs’ originally assigned to the Open Studio print archive. The numbered edition on release was an edition of 30.
