Class size: 6 students
Explore expressive image-making through screenprinting. Students will use hand-drawn imagery, monoprint, and direct-to-screen techniques to create both standard and varied edition prints. No experience necessary; all levels welcome.
About the Instructor: Rachael Dodgson is a Toronto-based artist, educator, and arts worker. A recent graduate of York University’s MFA program, Rachael’s research focuses on using printmaking to create bold, immersive assemblages of surface and abstract imagery. Rachael has participated in solo and group exhibitions and residencies, and has received grants from the Ontario Arts Council. Passionate about community building, she has spent the last decade teaching visual art and facilitating arts programming throughout the city.
