This course encourages play, curiosity, and experimentation through linocut and mixed-media collage. Participants will explore colour, texture, depth, and text, combining lino block printing with found printed materials. By the end of the course, participants will have a varied edition of ten prints and the opportunity to take part in a print exchange with their cohort.

The instructor will provide a collection of print ephemera for collage, but participants are encouraged to bring printed materials of personal significance.

The instructor will be masked throughout the class. Masking is warmly encouraged.

No experience necessary. All levels welcome.

About the Instructor" River Kenji Fujimoto is a multi-disciplinary artist and printmaker. A graduate of OCAD University’s Printmaking & Publications program with a minor in Art & Social Change, their work explores relationships—with others, the self, and the body. Their practice serves as a form of self-study, reflecting on themes of accessibility, imposter syndrome, and perfectionism, particularly concerning navigating identity and systemic structures.
