This screenprint, Zahara, is one of eight prints produced with Rita Letendre at Open Studio between 1973 and 1979. This print is unsigned but has a stamp on the reverse marking it as archive proof OS291. Supporting documentation confirms this print as a Letendre print that was labeled as 'Rust' when it was being produced at the studio, and later titled 'Zahara'. The numbered edition size of this print when it was released was 80. 

This print contains five colour layers and was created at Open Studio with Richard Sewell and Eugene Mazzei. Sewell’s embossed artist's chop can be seen in the bottom right corner of the paper.
