The Hind is one of two prints created by Joyce Wieland at Open Studio in 1984. The print depicts a hunter walking with a deer slung over his shoulders and has a mythological feel. The mark-making in this print is more closely associated with pen drawing or etching, but it is in fact a screenprint. 

The original numbered edition size of the released print was an edition of 50. It was printed with E.J. Howorth.
