This lithograph was created by Town at Open Studio in 1977 to accompany a fine print edition of the book Tom Thomson The Silence and the Storm by Harold Town and David Silcox. The book was published to celebrate the centenary of the birth of Tom Thomson in 1877.
This lithograph edition is signed as the third ‘Open Studio Proof’ assigned to the Open Studio print archive and is now released for sale. The original numbered edition size of the fine press book that this print accompanied was 135.
