This Untitled lithograph was produced as one of a suite of five prints to accompany the fine print edition of the book The Love Poems of Irving Layton. The prints each feature abstracted figures, sparingly rendered with bold, gestural lines.

This edition is signed as the third of three ‘Open Studio Proofs’ assigned to the Open Studio print archive and is now released for sale. The original numbered edition size of this print was an edition of 30, in conjunction with the size of the fine print edition of the book. This lithograph was printed with Don Holman, the then-Director of Lithography, whose embossed artist chop can be seen in the bottom right corner of the paper.
