This screenprint, Mondo Cane, features General Idea’s iconic trio of fluorescent poodles as seen in their set of ten paintings Mondo Cane Karma Sutra (1984). It is one of four prints produced by General Idea and published by Open Studio when they were Guest Artists at the studio in 1985.

This edition is signed as the first of two ‘Open Studio Proofs’ originally assigned to the Open Studio print archive. It features four screenprinted colour layers, and the numbered edition on release was an edition of 25 + 5 APs.
