Join us for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn to design and make your own stamps using soft lino. Use your creations to print on paper and fabric, crafting personalized items such as t-shirts, tote bags, patches, and cards. Feel free to bring your own imagery ideas—reference materials will be provided for inspiration!
Optional: Apron and gloves, as inks can be messy.
Who Can Join: This workshop is suitable for all skill levels—no prior experience is needed!
Please note that this workshop will be held in the galleries while the studio is undergoing renovations. The galleries will be open while the workshop runs :)
About Your Instructor
Loree Ovens (She/Her) brings a wealth of knowledge to the workshop. She studied Fashion Technique and Design at Holland College and earned an arts diploma from Sheridan College, SOCAD, majoring in fabrics. Loree holds a BFA in Printmaking from OCADU and is recognized for her work in various media, particularly printmaking. Her creations often evoke the essence of aged documents, textiles, and architectural forms.
Loree has exhibited nationally and internationally, with works included in prestigious collections such as the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada, the National Bank, and the Art Gallery of New South Wales.
