Collection: Winnie Truong

Winnie Truong's work has been the subject of solo exhibitions in Canada, the United States, and Europe. Her work is represented internationally in private and public collections including the Doris McCarthy Gallery at the University of Toronto, The Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art, Kansas, and the Bank of Denmark, Copenhagen among others.

Truong's print, some help from a friend, was created as a print subscription for Open Studio, and expands her drawing and paper-cut practice into the medium of a delicately layered screenprint. Continuing an overarching interest in the distortion of beauty, Truong's latest work specifically considers representation of the idealized female form in relation to nature.
