Michael Snow (1928–2023) was a Canadian artist whose practice spanned visual art, film, photography, sound, and music. Born in Toronto, he was a central figure in postwar Canadian art and internationally recognized for his experimental films and conceptually driven work. His work has been exhibited widely and is held in major public collections, including the National Gallery of Canada and the Museum of Modern Art, New York. Snow lived and worked in Toronto for much of his career.
