Collection: Abby Gowland

Abby Gowland (she/her) is an emerging artist based in Toronto, Ontario. She earned a BFAH (Bachelor of Fine Art, Honours) from Queen’s University in 2024, with a minor in Art History. Gowland currently practices as a member of Open Studios, Contemporary Printmaking Centre, specializing in drypoint. Her work is aesthetically inspired by pattern, symmetry and nature. Gowland has participated in numerous exhibitions, including “TOMPE” - The Ontario Miniature Print Exhibition at the Tap Centre for Creativity (London, ON), “Experimental Intervention”, at the Propeller Art Gallery, (Toronto, ON) and most recently, The Kingston School of Art’s Annual Juried Exhibition (Kingston, ON), where she was awarded an Honourable Mention for her piece, “Tulip Dance.”
