Explore relief printmaking through linocuts. Over four weeks, learn carving, inking, and printing techniques using both manual and semi-mechanized methods with a Vandercook press. Participants will create chine-collé experimental proofs and a small edition of 10–15 prints to exchange with classmates.
All levels welcome – no experience needed.
About the Instructor
Helen Tran is a multidisciplinary artist based in Mississauga. With a BFA in Printmaking & Publications from OCAD University, she blends printmaking and mixed media to explore themes of ephemerality, mourning, healing, and ancestral rituals. Her current work includes linocut botanicals inspired by nature and personal narratives.
