Collection: Monotype and Monoprint
View our print courses here.
Monotype is a printmaking technique where a unique image is created by applying ink to a smooth surface and transferring it onto paper. Each print is one-of-a-kind because the ink or paint is transferred only once, resulting in a non-reproducible image.
Monoprinting involves making multiple prints from a single matrix, with each print having unique variations due to additional alterations. This method combines consistency with creative variation across prints.
