February 01 - March 08, 2022
Instructor: Joy Wong (she/they)
From bold lines to subtle detail, stone lithography offers a wide range of mark-making possibilities. Participants will learn to draw and paint onto a finely ground limestone surface, which is then chemically processed before printing. Perfect for anyone who enjoys drawing in graphite or charcoal. Suitable for all levels, no prior experience is needed.
About the Print Instructor: Joy Wong (she/they) is an artist and educator based in Tkaronto/Toronto focusing on the intersections of decay, decadence, and material connections with the shifting physicality of the body. Wong has held residencies at St. Michael's Printshop in St. John's, Newfoundland, and the Robert McLaughlin Gallery in Oshawa, Ontario.
