Participants will learn all aspects of screenprinting, a stencil-based process that uses vibrant water-based inks to create colourful, crisp multiples. Participants will explore a variety of methods to transform images into vibrant multi-layer screenprints through this fast and highly rewarding process.
Suitable for all levels, no prior experience is needed.
About the Print Instructor
Meggan Winsley (she/her) is a Toronto-based artist. She received her BFA from York University in 2004 and the Art Fundamentals Certificate course from Sheridan College in 1999. She became a member of Open Studio in 2005 and began teaching shortly after. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and held in both public and private collections. She is currently teaching screenprinting courses at Open Studio.
